Photography is a digital form of creative art. REFLECTION 2.0 Photography shows the art of lights and darks. Photographs holds memories, captures joys of every single second of our life. But in this era photography is not just a way of hold onto past memories. It’s now a way to your creativity and arts that are expressed from your soul. To hold onto this view and create a new stage for the photography enthusiasts, Government Science College Photography Club recently arranged “REFLECTION 2.0” 2nd National GSCPC Photography Festival 2023. This fest was held on 15th and 16th June. 

Festival Day

In these 2days long fest a lot of interesting segments were arranged, which gave the participants the real thrill of competition and experience the real world full of photography enthusiasts. The segments were Photography competition and exhibition, the famous and one of the most talented photographer Enamur Reza played the honourable role of judge for photography segment. Cinematography, was also a top level attraction of this fest, Rony Sharafat played the vital role of judge for this segment. Photo Olympiad, photo manipulation, photo puzzle, post processing competition and live photography were also some of the segments from the fest.


A workshop by NAHID HASAN and LINKON DAS ROY, workshop mentors from CHAYACHOBI, was also arranged for the event. 

Prize Giving

This fest was one of the biggest photography fests throughout the year. The award giving ceremony was held on 16th June at college auditorium. Professor B.A.M Rezaul Karim presided over the program, ANISUL HAQUE, the writer and editor of monthly ‘Kishor Alo’. He was the chief guest and the special guest was Sheikh Rokon, Associate Editor of Doinik Shamakal. Zahirul Alam, the Department Head of Chemistry and General Secretary of teachers Association, Moin Uddin, moderator of Government Science College Photography Club and Majharul Islam, former Organizing Officer were also present. 

Club Partner Award Of REFLECTION 2.0

To make the event more joyful and perfect many more clubs from other campuses. They came hand in hand with all their resources and became club partner. Among all the club partners SRCC Film And Photography Club and Photography Club Of Rouf College won the award of BEST CLUB PARTNER. 

Best CA Award Of REFLECTION 2.0

Also Campus Ambassadors (CA) from different campuses around the city were assigned. Siam Hossain Limon, from Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment college, HEAD OF FILM of SRCC Film And Photography Club. He won the award of BEST CAMPUS AMBASSADOR with his passion and dedication. Tanzila Toyeba, another member from SRCCFPC, became the


CHAMPION of Live Photography segment. Students from other colleges and schools won over different segments too.  

This fest arranged by GSCPC is really appreciable. It made students get rid of academic pressures and made them free to feel. The real thrill of being surrounded by so many photography freaks.
